Alan Leong, Director of Research for BSR, interviews Pathway Medical's (private) CEO Thomas Clement.
Pathway Medical Technologies is a private medical device company located in Kirkland, WA. It was founded to develop, manufacture and market innovative medical devices intended for the treatment of arterial disease. Its lead product was recently approved for treating peripheral arterial disease (PAD). The “Jetstream” device clears out plaque through stainless steel blades that rotate, grind, slice, and then aspirate (remove) the sliced bits of plaque and surrounding diseased vascular tissue.
The 25 minute interview was recorded at the company's offices and digitized into MP3 format. Several free players can play MP3 files over the web.
At the time of the interview, no BSR staff members had a long position in Pathway Medical. For more information, see the Disclosures section of this web site.
