Corcept Therapeutics (CORT) is a pharmaceutical company engaged in the development of drugs for the treatment of severe psychiatric and neurological diseases. Its lead product candidate, Corlux, is aimed at treating psychotic depression and Cushing’s syndrome.
In December 2010, Corcept reported positive pivotal data from their Phase III trial of Corlux in Cushing's syndrome. The company plans a filing in April 2011 and BSR expects FDA approval of the drug by September 2011.
